Photo Friday: Tranquility

I took this picture early on an August morning at my favorite vacation spot in the world, the Adirondack Mountains of New York. Calm... peaceful... perfect, really. This picture always makes me stop and remember to slow down. Don't make waves, don't disturb a thing. Just take a deep breath and let the tranquility of the moment surround you.

~*~*~ May you always remember to dance in the rain, and may you have plenty of ladybugs beside you! ~*~*~

Blessings,
Kat

Hi Kat,

I saw your site on another blog I read regularly. I had to come visit because of the title.

My Mom was sick for many years before she died last October. I was always looking for stories to get her occupied and laughing. We had a family story about my aunt and ladybugs that did the trick every time.

After her death my brother, sisters and myself began to find ladybugs all over. I have never seen so many ladybugs in all my life!

Now the ladybug is like a sign for us that Mom is healthy and happy again in heaven. They are like a promise that the devastation of this world can't take away the love we shared.

Thanks for sharing your ladybug experience!
